In the shadow of a pandemic, social upheaval and political unrest former LOOSE LIPS member Richie Mayer retreated into his home studio to write what would unknowingly become his first solo album, yielding songs of love, loss, surf, sex, and surrender reverberating with the Beatles-esque melodies that are his forte. Mayer sings all the vocals, plays all the instruments, and produced this power-pop gem.

Guitar-driven “Dangerous Rhythm” gets us going from the start! You can feel the transformation of Mayer’s roots in the 1980 Chicago power-pop and new wave scene that included Pezband and Cheap Trick & Shoes.
