BIG STIR RECORDS SINGLES SERIES is proud to announce single no. 136, “Fantastic Pantsuit” by THIRD GRADE TEACHER, but also covered by sparkle*jets u.k.! Pre-order is available at bigstirrecords.bandcamp.com/album/fantastic-pantsuit-big-stir-single-no-136 due for a June 25th release date.

Both bands are fronted by educators, actually. THIRD GRADE TEACHER shares: “we wrote maybe our poppiest tune on a rainy day channeling some sunshine and positivity (and probably THE MONKEES)”. For the record release party for the album originally featuring the song, sparkle*jets u.k. worked up a notably non-pop version of the song with a LED ZEPPELIN slant to surprise their friends. It went over so well, they recorded it.

We are also celebrating the 20th anniversary of the song, and this fun double-sided single is absolutely a fantastic commemoration!
