The ongoing month-by-month, track-by track 10th Anniversary Reissue of our own IRENE PEÑA's debut album Nothing To Do With You continues with its title track “Nothing To Do With You”, the tenth single in the series, arriving at bigstirrecords.bandcamp.com on November 19th.
A little bit tongue-in-cheek, a wee bit passive-aggressive, but 100% catchy in the melodic realm, this song speaks from the heart, and directly to a few narcissistic souls who have crossed Irene’s path. “I have yet to write a song without at least one specific person or moment in mind. I’m not sure that it’s even possible. I know for certain that I wrote this purely for my sake as a method to process things from my perspective. Being able to express this musically was a perk of dusting off some cobwebs.”
